Dianne and I traveled by rail and bus across the Canadian Rockies in August/September 2012. The trip took us from Vancouver to Kamloops to Jasper and Lake Louise. Here the Ice Explorer took us on to a glacier. We then traveled to Banff and then back to Vancouver. Two days in Whistler followed. Most of the photos were taken from a moving train where I spent much of my time on the open-air car. The mother grizzly bear and cubs photos were taken from inside our tour bus so they are not as clear as I would have liked. I post them only because such a sighting is -I am told - extremely rare.
